From the moment I was discovered playing on a cardboard keyboard at the age of four, my journey through life has been as a professional musician. However, several years ago I answered a longtime desire to try something artistic which, while still using my hands, would be concrete and three dimensional.
Stemming from an understanding and appreciation of music, I am drawn to the rhythm, form and symmetry of wheel-thrown pottery. The harmony of color and form also has evolved from my previous experience. My work has found homes in many states and for many purposes, from functional to decorative. I enjoy knowing where they are and with whom they reside, because they are personal and originated from my hands and creative impulses.
